A typical day starts with an early breakfast and a short drive to the hunting area before dawn. Once there, glassing and listening to roaring stags are key. Return to the lodge for lunch and a well-deserved nap. In the evening, we head out again to hunt until dark, then return to the lodge for dinner, drinks by the fireplace, and exchanging hunting stories.<\/p>\n
This hunt is comparable to elk hunting in the western United States. Vast, open terrain, glassing from high vantage points, and long shots of up to 300 yards (practice makes the difference).<\/p>\n
