In northwestern Belarus, nestled in the stunning landscape of the Belarusian Lake District, lies Braslav Lakes National Park \u2013 the country's largest lake district. A unique mosaic of over 300 lakes, swamps, forests, and vast open spaces stretches across approximately 223,000 hectares \u2013 a paradise for nature lovers and hunters alike. The region is not only breathtakingly scenic, but also important for wildlife conservation: It is home to Belarus's largest elk population.<\/p>\n

Elk, roe deer, wolves, lynx, and numerous bird species can be found in the area. Elk hunting is clearly the main focus. Starting in September, the area attracts passionate hunters from all over Europe who want to experience this prehistoric-looking bull in the wild. With a shoulder height of over two meters and a weight of several hundred kilograms, the European elk is the largest deer species in the world \u2013 a hunting experience that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n
The hunt takes place during the rut, when the elk are particularly active in calling in cool weather. Our experienced professional hunters have been familiar with the region's traditional rutting grounds for many years and will bring you to the game at close range. The ratio of shoveler to elk is approximately 40:60. Expected trophy weights range between 7 and 10 kg \u2013 with exceptional specimens exceeding 14 kg. Please note that the bulls typically shed their antlers starting in late November.<\/p>\n

You will receive a warm welcome at the airport in Minsk or Vilnius. Our local partners will assist you with all entry formalities, which always run smoothly. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the hunting area \u2013 approximately a three-hour drive north of Minsk. The region is well-connected, and numerous international airlines fly to Minsk daily.<\/p>\n
