The area where the driven pheasant shoots occur covers around 600 hectares. Beautiful landscape of southern Moravia offers shooting in mainly flat terrain covered by forest. This is a forest environment dominated by deciduous forests (mainly oaks and ash). The forests are mature and alternate between low stands, thickets and linear plantings of shrubs. The pheasant leches themselves are divided by small fields of corn which are interspersed between these woods. Each field is on the edge of a good cover of shrubs which form the bulk of the area. The pheasants are hidden in these and flit between the fields and the woods. A system of woodland paths divides the area into several units. This makes it possible to reach all the hunting leks on foot, which are so easily accessible. Local experienced staff has been organizing the shoot here for more than 30 years according to the Czech hunting traditions and ceremonies.<\/p>\n

The area offers good shooting opportunities, with pheasants released several months before the start of the season. As it is a flat area, it is not suitable for hunters who only want to shoot pheasants that fly very high.
