Hunting Area
The Stogovo hunting area is located in the southwest of North Macedonia and borders directly on Mavrovo National Park. Covering 27,000 hectares, it features typical high mountain terrain with steep slopes, rock formations, and alpine meadows. The main game species is the Balkan chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra balcanica). Due to the undisturbed wildlife population, there is an excellent opportunity to harvest mature chamois bucks with strong trophy development. Wolves are also present in the area and can occasionally be observed.
