Hunting Scrub Bulls up here in far north QLD, hunters are allowed to shoot a couple old mature bulls on a hunt and as many wild boar and dingoes as they can. Bulls range in body size and horn size greatly therefore looking over many animals until finding the trophy one will be commonplace (this is not a cull hunt and the animals being hunted are looked after for future hunts to be possible) there are also opportunities to hunt wild boar and wild dogs also known as dingoes that may be encountered on the hunt. These are not the primary focus of the hunt. Scrub Bulls can be caped and skulls and horns cleaned for free, however international shipping is at the hunters own hands. Hunting will mainly occur in open forests, grassy fields and semi arid ridges adjacent swamps, thick scrub and floodplains, sometimes bulls and boars can be hunted in a coastal environment such as the beach or just behind the sand dunes. Bow hunting and rifle hunting are accepted and successful ways to hunt bulls with most being found on foot and some being spotted form the vehicles. Fishing is also available and might be a good idea to have a bit of fun for a few hours between hunts.
