What are Cookies?

Cookies are a small data set generated by a web server, sent through the Internet and stored on your device using your browser program. When is the provider allowed to use Cookies?

The service provider is entitled to store cookies on the (informed) user’s terminal whose sole purpose is to carry out or facilitate the transmission of a message via an electronic communications network or, if absolutely necessary, to a specific one expressly requested by the subscriber or user Service (Article 5 (3) ePriva-cy-RL).
