We hunt on private high country and public land for free range, New Zealand Red Deer. The ranches and stations we have access to have good numbers and quality is exceptional.
Hunting Red Stags in New Zealand will be one of your best hunting experiences. This beautiful animal offers constant new hunting challenges and the scenery is incredible.
Wild Red Stag Trophy heads are in the range of 200 to 300 inches. An animal in the 300 - 340 range is an exceptional trophy.
The best time to hunt is during the Red Stag rut, which begins in late February and ends in late April. (We never know for sure, but this is generally when it happens)
We run our Red Stag Trophy hunts from February, through until the end of August. Meat hunts are available year-round.
