We are a company dedicated to the hunting of Doves, Pigeons, Golden Fish, and our special Wine Tours in Cafayate. It is in the city of LAS LAJITAS, 200km from the main city and the international airport of SALTA.
The province of SALTA is in the north of Argentina, bordering PARAGUAY, BOLIVIA AND CHILE. In the city of Salta, you can enjoy the typical Argentinean barbecue “Asado”, empanadas, and folklore shows featuring local music and dance.
The highest vineyards in the world are found in the Calchaqui valley area. Cafayate and its surroundings are famous for its vineyards, excellent wines, and bodegas with a large hotel infrastructure where the majority of grapes grown are Torrontés and Malbec.
In the area where we hunt there are millions of Doves & Pigeons, this makes SALTA the best hunting destination. More than 600,000 hectares of the department of ANTA in SALTA produce excellent grains of soy, corn, peanut, chickpea, sunflower and wheat and other food for the birds. The hunting season in Argentina is reversed in the United States and Europe, so the best time to hunt in Argentina is between April and October, when the weather is dry and warm. The dove hunting is permitted throughout the year and in unlimited quantities.
The Juramento is one of the wildest rivers in Argentina. The Dorado in this area runs generally between 12 to 15 pounds. The best conditions are in the months of April and May, and then September, October and November also have the best water clarity.
