The days of hunting will take place in three hunting grounds / free range areas about 15 km from Kutná Hora in Central Bohemia. These are areas each of about 800 hectares, mostly covered with forests and bushes, where there is a good population of wild boar and fallow deer. The hunt is organised for a group of about 27 hunters. Based on past experience, a group of 27 experienced hunters can hunt 35-50 animals per day. Wild boars are usually more than 50 % of the games hunted in one day. Normally 2 long drives (2 - 2.5 hours each) are scheduled during each hunting day. There are usually 15 beaters and 25-30 dogs. The staff have a good knowledge of the hunting areas and, together with the beaters and dogs, ensure a good organisation of the driven hunt in compliance with the safety rules.
