Hunting in Mauritius – Exclusive Adventures in Extraordinary Landscapes

Driven by a deep passion for hunting and nature, we invite you to discover Mauritius from a completely new perspective — wild, authentic, and full of contrast.

Experience exclusive hunting adventures across more than ten carefully selected territories in the central and northern regions of the island. Each landscape offers its own character — from the humid forests of the central plateau and the mountains and waterfalls of the south, to the arid savannas and thorny bushland of the western coast.

Every hunting day offers a new biotope, a new challenge, and a unique experience — a true journey through Mauritius’s natural diversity.

The Hunt
The focus lies on the Rusa Deer (Java Deer), introduced by Dutch settlers in the 17th century and now perfectly adapted to the island’s ecosystem. In addition, wild boar may be hunted in specific areas.
Selective and sustainable management ensures a healthy and balanced population.

The Rusa Deer is a demanding and cautious game species — its camouflage, acute senses, and wariness make it a truly rewarding trophy.

Hunting can be arranged as stalking or high-seat rifle hunts, or for experienced hunters, bow hunting, either from hides or on foot. Each hunt is guided by experienced local professionals, ensuring a safe, ethical, and personalized experience.

Accommodation & Services
Accommodation is provided in comfortable lodges or guesthouses close to the hunting areas, featuring local cuisine and scenic surroundings. Transfers between accommodation and hunting grounds are organized.
Optional extensions including beach stays, fishing trips, or cultural excursions can be arranged upon request.

Mauritian Cuisine
The cuisine of Mauritius is a discovery in itself — a blend of Creole, French, and Indian influences. Enjoy signature dishes such as Deer Vindaye or Wild Boar Roast, prepared and served in an authentic and elegant setting.

Why Mauritius?
Mauritius is much more than a tropical paradise — it is a hidden gem for discerning hunters seeking exclusivity, sustainability, and adventure.

Discover a destination where hunting, nature, and hospitality come together to create an unforgettable experience — combining comfort, challenge, and the true spirit of the island.
