It is well recognised that the Rangitata has the finest foot hunting for trophy Bull Tahr in the world. All our Tahr hunts are conducted on our own private land which is exclusive for Rangitata High Country Hunters only, this ensures you will have the best alpine hunting experience possible. Our land has very high animal numbers and you will have plenty of time to look over many bulls in order to take the trophy of your choice. While the hunt is quite physical, obtaining a quality Bull Tahr on foot is achievable for most people. We have successfully guided clients of all ages and abilities to the trophy of a lifetime. The best Tahr hunting is from May, which is when the rut takes place through to July.

Also included: Luxury lodge accommodation for 4 nights and 1 x 1 professional hunting guide. We always hunt the first afternoon so a 4 night booking will be 3 ½ days hunting.
