Man könne aber nicht wissen, was in einem, zwei oder drei Jahren gebraucht werde, antwortete der Präsident auf die Frage, ob er die Lieferung von Kampfjets auch für die Zukunft ausschließe. „Ich schließe es für jetzt aus“, betonte Biden.
