Island ist das einzige Land in der Welt wo wir legal Papageientaucher bejagen können. Es gibt 3 Papageientaucherarten in der Welt; 2 Papagaientaucher im Pazifik und unser Atlantik Papageientaucher. Der Atlantik Papageientaucher gehört zur Guillemot Vogelfamilie. Es können weitere vertreter der Guillemot Familien bejagt werden.
Jagdsaison
Die Papageientaucher ziehen im August aus Island aus und bleiben im Südatlantik im Winter. Sie kehren im April zurück. Die aktive Saison für Papagaientaucher ist nur vom 10. bis 25. April.

Iceland is the only country in the world where we can legally hunt puffins. There are 3 species of puffins in the world; 2 Pacific Puffins and our Atlantic Puffin. The Atlantic Puffin belongs to the Guillemot bird family. Other representatives of the Guillemot families can be hunted.
hunting season
The puffins migrate from Iceland in August and stay in the South Atlantic in winter. They return in April. The active season for Papagei is only from April 10th to 25th.
