Ungarn ist seit vielen Jahren ein Zielland für Jäger, die alte, kapitale Rothirsche zur Strecke bringen möchten. Im Karpatenbecken lebt einer der besten Hirschbestände der Welt. Die dichten Eichen- und Auenwälder der ungarischen Jagdreviere bieten dem Rotwild einen optimalen Lebensraum. In Südungarn befindet sich das größte zusammenhängende Auwaldgebiet Europas.
In den vergangenen Jahren wurden in Ungarn 5 Weltrekord-Trophäen erbeutet. Die stärksten Rothirsche werden in den Regionen Zala, Somogy, Tolna und Baranya erlegt. Die Gäste haben in der Brunft die besten Chancen eine erfolgreiche Rothirschjagd auszuüben. In Südungarn fängt die Brunft schon in den ersten Septembertagen an, in den westlichen und nördlichen Revieren können die Jäger ab Mitte September die Hochbrunft erleben.

The dense oak and floodplain forests of the Hungarian hunting grounds offer red deer an optimal habitat. The largest contiguous riparian forest area in Europe is located in southern Hungary.
In recent years, 5 world record trophies have been captured in Hungary. The strongest red deer are shot in the Zala, Somogy, Tolna and Baranya regions. During the rut, guests have the best chance of successfully hunting red deer. In southern Hungary, the rut begins in the first days of September; in the western and northern areas, hunters can experience the peak rut from mid-September.
