Das Wildreservat hat eine sehr hohe Anzahl an Büffel. Die australischen Büffel sind sehr schusshart und vergleichbar mit dem afrikanischen Kaffernbüffel, wenn nicht noch härter. Das empfohlene Minimalkaliber ist 338 Win Mag. Die Jagd auf Büffel wird mit Hilfe von Geländewagen oder ATVs durchgeführt, dabei werden entweder frische Spuren gefunden welche die Strasse überqueren oder man sieht bei der Fahrt einzelne Bullen in der Ebene stehen. Nachdem der Büffel gesichtet ist wird er zu Fuss angepirscht um einen besseren Blick zu erhalten. Die Schussdistanz variiert von 20 Metern im dicken Busch bis zu 100m in den offenen Ebenen.
Die Hörner eines ausgewachsenen Bullen messen von Spitze zu Spitze 95-105cm, mit einer Länge von 68-90cm pro Horn. Das Gewicht eines Wasserbüffels beträgt in der Regel 700 bis 800kg mit Ausnahmen von bis zu 1000kg.

The game reserve has a very high number of buffaloes. The Australian buffalo are very shot-hard and comparable to the African Kaffir buffalo, if not even harder. The recommended minimum caliber is 338 Win Mag. The hunt for buffaloes is carried out with the help of SUVs or ATVs, either fresh tracks are found which cross the street or you can see single bulls standing in the plane. After the buffalo is spotted, he is stalked on foot to get a better look. The shooting distance varies from 20 meters in the thick bush to 100 meters in the open planes.
