Additional information: The first and third days of the hunt will take place in an area spanning around 1,500 hectares – free range. This location is situated approximately 20 minutes from the hotel, in the northern part of the Czech Republic, around 80 km south of Dresden in Germany. This low mountain hunting ground consists mainly of woodland and copses and is home to large populations of red deer, roe deer and wild boar. The hunting area lies at the foot of a 950-metre-high mountain. A winding valley runs through its centre, with steep hills alternating with plateaus and valleys, which offer many splendid viewpoints. Driven hunts are organised for groups of about 25 hunters, with an average of 25–35 animals hunted per day. The species hunted are wild boar, red deer and roe deer. On the second day of the hunt, you will travel to an area – free range covering around 600 hectares, located approximately 50 minutes from the hotel and 80 km north of Prague. This hunting area lies at an altitude between 245 and 300 metres above sea level, 80% of which is flat terrain. The remaining 20% consists of undulating terrain, including slopes, steep valleys and areas of more difficult access. These areas are the richest in game in the entire hunting ground. Seventy per cent of the reserve consists of woodland, primarily oak mixed with pine, while the remainder consists of meadows and fields. Overall, between 150 and 200 hoofed game animals are hunted each year. During a day of driven hunt a group of 25 hunters will hunt between 25 and 35 animals. The main game hunted during driven hunts is wild boar plus fallow deer and mouflon.
