At the beginning of June, numerous herds of buffalo move from the Zambezi River to the flat and hilly landscapes of the hunting areas to graze there. With them there are old buffalo comming, the so-called "Daggerboys".
The Sambesivalley is an excellent big game huntingarea.
The success rate for buffalo hunting in our areas has been almost 100% in the past 15 years. The good stock of buffalo is not only quantitative, but also distinguished by the trophy quality.
It is also offered to hunt other plainsgame in the seven hunting days. There are only additional costs if you shoot one of these game species. The costs for each game species can be seen in the pictures (last picture).
You are accompanied by an experienced professional hunter.You drive with a 4x4 off-road vehicle.
Every year, a number of buffaloes with a trophy length of up to 40 inches (102 centimeters) are shot by our guests.
However, buffalos with a trophy length of over 42 inches (105 centimeters) are also hunted individually.
The best time to go buffalo hunting is in the fall months.
The hunt for the buffalo is often very exhausting. You are on your feet all day and return to the camp exhausted in the evening.
But you won´t think about it when you suceed and shoot an old bull in the end.
HHK Safaris looks after four other areas in Zimbabwe. The buyer has the option of hunting in the safari areas of Zambezi Valley, Dande, Omay or Makuti. The service, the camps and the hunting conditions are equal in quality and price.
It is possible to take an accompaniment with you. Companions under the age of 10 are free of charge.
If there is no hunting success, 7900 $ will be refunded.
A fee of 4% is added to each shot animal. For the first animal the fee is included in the given price.
There are seven hunting days. The day of arrival and departure are included in the price.
Sightseeing tours to national parks and villages where you can buy typical products are possible at an additional cost.
It is possible to borrow a motorboat for 180 $/ day and 2.2 $/ liter of gasoline.
You can borrow a gun and ammonition, but there are additional costs.
Vaccination against malaria is recommended as the areas are malaria areas.
