This hunting area in Mpumalanga is quite hilly and has around 25 % plains, 40% hills and 35% mountains. The landscape consits of 75% grass and bushland and 25% forest. This area is extremely scenic with mountains criss-crossed by streams and rivers. Walk and stalk as well as spot and stalk being the primary hunting methods used here.

Offered are the Common Blesbuck, Bushpig on bait, Sable Antilope, Impala, Kudu, Nyala, Springbuck, Blue and Black Wildebeest, Oribi, Cape Bushbuck, Eland, Mountian Reedbuck and the seldom seen Cape fox. We also have high success rates hunting Serval, which we consider to be our speciality. The hunter can choose which and how many of the offered species he wishes to hunt, depending on availability and licenses. Our hunting areas in Mpumalanga total about 30.000 hectares and we have large amounts of all offered game free roaming in the areas. The accommodation is comfortable but still has the typical rustic "safari-charm" a hunter wants to enjoy during their stay.
7 days of hunting and enjoying the African bush is considered a minimum and we urge our clients to plan as such. You are welcome to bring along a non-hunting partner and experience the safari together. The arrival and departure days are calculated as hunting days.
Our 2:1 daily rate is €300 per day.
Airport pickup and travel to or on the hunting area is included in the daily rate. Travel between different hunting areas is calculated as hunting days and an additional €0.50/km is charged.
All Hunting licences and taxes are included in the price.
We can assist with the rifle import process or recommend a very reliable import service.
Rifle hire available in calibres: .222rem, .243win, 7x64 Brenneke, .308win, .375H&H and .458lott.
Recommended minimum tips for PH’s is € 400,- skinners and kitchen staff € 100,- each, but the choice remains yours.

Additional information: The hunting area is composed of Mkhunyane Reserve (7,000ha) and Vonkelfontein (4000ha) in eastern Mpumalanga and the nearby hunting areas in Kwa-Zulu Natal. The landscape is extremely varied with a total of 4 biomes, ranging from open grassland to thick forests and has a large amount of game free ranging on the areas.

The camp lays in the middle of the hunting area in eastern Mpumalanga. It is one of the most scenic hunting areas we have available in South Africa. Situated within an hours drive from our Kwa-Zulu Natal hunting areas.

Field preparation of trophies and transport to the taxidermist is possible and included in the price. We have three professional taxidermist partners that are able to work on your trophies. The period from receipt of deposit by the taxidermist to export will be approximately 6 - 8 months for dip and ship, but can be longer for taxidermy work.

The deposit is conducted via internet bank transfer to the banking details supplied when the hunting contract is concluded. We also accept credit cards.
