Herausragender Muffel- und Schwarzwildbestand. Sehr gut kombinierbarmit Jagd auf Schwarzwild bzw. Keiler.
Die Jagd auf den Muffelwidder erfolgt primär auf der Morgen- bzw. Abendpirsch. Wenn es die Wetterlage und die jagdlichen Rahmenbedingungen zulassen, wird auch nicht selten unter Tags auf den Widder gepirscht.
Es besteht selbstverständlich auch die Möglichkeit je nach Kondition des Jägers den Muffelwidder am Ansitz zu bejagen.
