The roe deer hunting season in Poland begins on May 11th. This period offers excellent conditions for successful hunts in a landscape in full bloom. June and July are also attractive for hunting: the increasing vegetation makes hunting more challenging and requires precise identification and meticulous hunting techniques.
A particular highlight is the rutting season at the end of July and beginning of August. During this period, strong bucks, previously barely visible, often appear. Hunting the so-called "red buck" is considered by many hunters to be one of the season's most memorable experiences.
