Offer description

"...Having a dream we are ready to get to the end of the world to get it fulfilled.
And the further we go the more we expect…"
Meeting your expectation is the major goal of our business.
Kamchatka Outfitters invites you to Kamchatka Spring Brown Bear Hunt.
The brown bear (Ursus Arctos bearingianus) is the most famous animal on Kamchatka. The average size of a mature male is about 8.5 feet (2.5 m.). The color varies from light brown to almost black. The brown bears' population is approx. 12-15 thousand. Kamchatka has one of the highest brown bear populations, with an average density of one brown bear per square mile.
"Kamchatka Outfitters" has been arranging Brown Bear Hunting over 10 years already in the northern and southern parts of the Kamchatka peninsula. Our hunting areas have snow in April and May. At this time of the year the ground is covered by 5 - 11 ft. (1-3 m.) of snow. The temperatures range from 20 F (-6 С) in the night and reach 50 F (+10 С) during the day time.
During spring hunts we use snowmobiles and sled to take the hunter to the hunting area. Spotting and stalking is generally done from the sled. Searching for tracks and glassing mountain hillsides is the way to hunt Kamchatka Brown Bears. During day time bears lie in the sun on the rocks and in snow-free areas. They are active in the morning and evening. You will have your own experienced guide who has excellent knowledge of the area and will assist you in getting your trophy.

Additional information: Kamchatka Outfitters" has been arranging Brown Bear Hunting over 10 years already in the northern and southern parts of the Kamchatka peninsula. With its vast territories, Kamchatka is a unique place for hunting. Having untouched virgin nature it is really one of the most fascinating and exotic places of Russia. We do our hunts on Khodutka (South of Kamchatka), Middle part of Kamchatka and Palana (North of Kamchatka) areas. Remoteness and protection of the areas explains a good population of Brown Bear, Moose and Snow Sheep. In fall: we locate our hunting camps on banks of rivers abundant with spawning salmon. Access into these remote camps is by helicopter only. Our hunting area makes up a great hunting situation due to the way the landscape is set up around the rivers that are abundant with salmon. Hunters can take the position on top large rocks in and around the river to have an elevated position over bears feeding in the river and open areas. We also make spike camps in the berry fields and in Siberian pine cones feeding places. Motorboats and horses are used for transportation. You will have your own experienced guide who has excellent knowledge of the area and will assist you in getting your trophy.
