Wolf hunt
Kamchatka Outfitters invites you to Kamchatka Wolf Hunt. Wolf is not a common animal for Kamchatka. Because of rein deer breeding on Kamchatka it easily increases in number. Body's length reaches 62 - 99 inches (153 cm. - 251 cm.), withers height can be 33 - 46 inches (83 cm. - 116 cm.). Its fur is rich and dense. Nape fur is long and looks like horse mane.
Our company would like to offer you special helicopter wolf hunting trip in nothern part of Kamchatka peninsula. We do this hunts in cooperation with rein deer breeding farms as a local Fish and Game Department program for regulations of the wolf population.
As wolves are widely spread on vast territory, helicopter hunt is almost the only opportunity to control this big territory. Hunting Season: All year around. Winter is the best one. About 25 animals are harvested on the territories of the Kamchatka peninsula every year.
Day 1. Arrival to Petropavlovsk. Meeting at the airport. Customs formalities. Driving to Esso village (approx. 7 hours). Heicopter flight to Palana village. Accommodation at the hotel (Dbl).
Day 2. Helicopter flight to the hunting area (30 minutes). Overnight (tents, Dbl).
Day 3 - 10. Eight days of pure hunt. Overnight (tents, Dbl).
Day 11. Preparing for the departure. Flight to Esso village. Drive to Petropavlovsk. Overnight (hotel, Dbl).
Day 12. Breakfast. Departure.

Das Fell ist reich und dicht das Nackenfell ist besonders lang und sieht manchmal wie eine Pferdemähne aus.
Unsere Firma möchte Ihnen einen besonderen Helikopter-Wolfsjagdausflug im nördlichen Teil der Halbinsel Kamtschatka anbieten. Wir machen diese Jagden in Zusammenarbeit mit Rentierzuchtbetrieben sowie des lokalen Fisch- und Wildschutzprogrammes zur Regelungen der Wolfspopulation.
Da Wölfe weit verbreitet sind, ist die Hubschrauberjagd fast die einzige Möglichkeit, dieses große Gebiet zu kontrollieren. Jagdsaison ist das ganze Jahr über, im Winter ist es jedoch am besten. Etwa 25 Tiere werden jedes Jahr auf den Territorien der Halbinsel Kamtschatka nachhaltig erlegt.
Tag 1. Ankunft in Petropawlowsk. Treffen am Flughafen. Zollformalitäten. Fahrt nach Esso (ca. 7 Stunden). Hubschrauberflug nach Palana. Unterbringung im Hotel (DZ).
Tag 2. Hubschrauberflug zum Jagdgebiet (30 Minuten). Übernachtung (Zelte, DZ).
Tag 3 - 10. Acht Tage reine Jagd. Übernachtung (Zelte, DZ).
Tag 11. Vorbereitung auf die Abreise. Flug nach Esso. Fahrt nach Petropawlowsk. Übernachtung (Hotel, DZ).
Tag 12. Frühstück. Abfahrt.

In city part of the tours, our guests live in the hotels (dbl and sngl) rooms. Depending on tour our travelers stay in the hotels, resorts, double weatherproof tents or cabins with wood burning stoves. There are a separate kitchen, a dinning room, a lavatory and a shower (or russian sauna) in every hunting camp.All the places are clean, safe and friendly. Hot water available in all hunting camps.
A Professional cook works with every group of our clients. All our travelers are provided with hot meal three times a day. Snack food is provided when necessary.
All base camps and spike camps are equipped with radio transmitters, satellite phones, and signaling devices.

After your hunt, each of your trophies will be cleaned, salted and prepared for shipment. Trophy preparation procedures includes skinning the animal, cutting off the extra fat, skull boiling out, salting and drying. For making the hides as light as possible for less shipment weight charge we change salt three times. Every skull and skin will be marked with the hunter address and name tag. We put the hides and the skulls in a fabric bag and hard box for further transportation.
